Prabhat is an engineer by education.
Some days ago, one of his friends bought an expensive washing machine for purpose of just drying the clothes. Then he wondered whether there isn’t a cheaper or smarter option than buying the washing machine. He thought washing machine for purpose of just drying be a fool move.
But soon he discovered that there is no effective option to exclusively dry the clothes. Thus he decided to develop a dedicated cloth dryer.
He made first design with radiative heaters to mimic solar irradiation. But it needed too much electricity. Such expensive technique wouldn’t be acceptable for most of the public.
Successively he designed a smart dryer which dries the cloths by forced evaporation. He used a combination of humidity-temperature sensors, and axial fans. After some trials, the optimum specification was achieved.
